A little New Age-y here & there, which initially might or might not be a turn-off, depending on how you feel about such things - but stick with it, because there's lots of powerful material here:- Strong and useful explanation of why we get depressed in the first place. The reader may not agree with everything in this book, but it is an excellent place to begin that discussion.. To those who think that some new regulatory agency is needed, the author does not agree. (What really moves those plates anyway?) Just scanning and focusing down on what interests will teach you something new every time. The author breaks this phenomenon into three types: The Pre-Planned Snow Day, The High-Probability Snow Day, and The Surprise Snow Day. good book.
